If this were the model, then reporting our results and getting them out into pop culture would be really easy, because you could just do that. And you just scribble out one and say "Actually, turns out that bad at math thing? We were wrong." Right That's not the way it is here; they're good at math. And everybody would take their little mental chalkboards and they would erase bad at math and they would write in good at math. Then we could all go home and you know find something else to do with our days. Somehow, that doesn't seem to be the way it works. So the first step to understanding what the structure is of people's gender ideas is, is understanding that there's a structure.
