One of the things that's interesting about women in blogging is that unlike other areas of technology and technology development, women are very well represented in blogging. There's in fact an entire conference devoted to women bloggers called BlogHer that happens every year. You can also go to blogher.org online and find out more about that, and there's a lot of bloggers there. Also, what's interesting is that blogging - which is really a kind of entertainment medium, or a news medium - unlike something like video gaming, doesn't have this kind of cultural depiction as being male.

In fact, we even have a kind of female equivalent of the dweeby guy video game stereotype in the world of blogs, which is the Mommy blogger, who is the woman who stays home and writes incessantly about her baby barfing.
